Ask Questions: Asking questions is never stupid, keeping quiet and staying unknowledgeable is. Make sure you ask questions regarding your work if you need to because it helps you to understand things in a better way. Always make it clear as it why were confused or in doubt. 

Keep everything documented: Make sure you keep every communication and every other work documented. Emails play a great role in an organization. It is always better to keep your conversations, approvals etc documented in an email in order to make a fair communication. Also all the other related work should be documented for further use.
