BFIT celebrates 17th Birthday of Uttarakhand establishment. Uttarakhand is known for the natural environment of the Himalayas, the Bhabhar and the Terai. On 9 November 2000,  Uttaranchal  became the 27th state of the Republic  of India  under the BJP government, after a long-drawn agitation . , being created from the Himalayan and adjoining northwestern districts of  Uttar  Pradesh. In January 2007 the  Uttaranchal turns into   Uttarakhand , meaning “northern region,” which was the traditional name for the area. Uttarakhand has two divisions : i)  Garhwal   ii)  Kumaon .
