Plants are called producers as they synthesize their own food using CO 2  from air and water from soil utilizing sunlight as source of energy by a process known as photosynthesis. The rest of the food chain consists of consumers only. The practice of producing crops and livestock from the natural resources of the earth is called Agriculture. Modern agriculture includes agronomy, horticulture, animal husbandry, dairying, soil chemistry, etc. Chemistry deals with compounds, both organic and inorganic, and agriculture deals with the production of organic products using both organic and inorganic inputs Thus Chemistry forms an integral part of agriculture from molecular to organ level. BFIT Group of Institution wishes the 17th Uttarakhand Foundation Day. BFIT celebrates 17th Birthday of Uttarakhand establishment. Uttarakhand is known for the natural environment of the Himalayas, the Bhabhar and the Terai. On 9 November 2000,  Uttaranchal  became the 27th state of the Republic  of India  under the BJP government, after a long-drawn agitation . , being created from the Himalayan and adjoining northwestern districts of  Uttar  Pradesh. In January 2007 the  Uttaranchal turns into   Uttarakhand , meaning “northern region,” which was the traditional name for the area. Uttarakhand has two divisions : i)  Garhwal   ii)  Kumaon . It has 13  districts  . "She chose a path less trodden and turned it into a road paved with gold as far as her dance was concerned. There will never be another Sitara Devi." Sita Devi is a Kathak dancer. She is known as "Kathak Queen of India" . She  was hailed as the "  Nritya Samragni "  by Rabindranath Tagore in the age of 16. We give tribute to her on 97th Birthday. She was born on 8th Nov 1920 in Kolkata on Dhanteras that is why S he was named Dhanalakshmi (Dhanno). Her father , Sukhdev Mahajan was scholar of Sanskrit. He taught & performed Kathak &    Bharata Natya Shastra  in India. Her Mother, Matsya Kumari  belongs to the Royal family of the Nepal . She had two sisters named- Alaknanda & Tara and tow brothers named - Chaube & Pande.
